Hello. I have a home network with 3 routers and 1 switch. On Sunday, two laptops connected to WiFi from one of the routers suddenly needed to be booted into recovery mode and one ended up needing to be factory reset. A PlayStation 4 connected via WiFi to one of our other routers also needed to be put into recovery mode. Two mobile phones on the same WiFi as the laptops received popup fraudulent site alerts on sites such as Yahoo Answers and Google. One laptop was able to boot after going through recovery mode, the other needed to be factory reset. The PlayStation 4 is still unable to turn on properly. One other PlayStation 4 and another laptop on the same network both appear to have no issues. I checked the routers to see if the DNS was changed or anything of the sort. Both laptops that experienced issues are around 5-7 years old, however being that all of these events occurred at the same time I'm more worried that it's an issue with our network possibly being infected rather than issues with the ages of the laptops? Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/concerned-that-home-network-might-be-infected/Web Explainer VideoThanks!
